Travel to Kasetsart University

The conference venue, Kasetsart University, is easily reached by the BTS Skytrain from the main conference hotels (InterContinental Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok and Holiday Inn Bangkok). The journey takes around 55-65 minutes on clean, air-conditioned trains that run frequently throughout the day.

Signs and announcements are in both English and Thai, making the system straightforward for international visitors. Trains operate from early morning until midnight.

Alight at Kasetsart University Station on the Sukhumvit (Light Green) Line. From there, the campus is just a short walk, and student helpers will be available to guide you.

Tickets and passes are easy to obtain:

  • One-way tickets and day passes are available from machines or station offices (English menus provided).

  • For convenience, a rechargeable Rabbit Card (similar to London’s Oyster or Tokyo’s Suica) is available, though a passport is required for purchase.

  • A one-way trip costs THB 47 (about EUR 1.25). If using a Rabbit Card, only preload what you need - cards are easy to recharge at any ticket office.

Bangkok traffic is notoriously heavy, so the Skytrain is by far the most reliable option. If you must travel by road, avoid rush hours and use Grab (Thailand’s ride-hailing app) rather than taxis.

For additional information, visit the BTS Skytrain website.
